Senior procurement and logistics specialist
Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible to manage the relations with all Leesta suppliers, so that the acquisition process of all goods and services incorporated into the products manufactured by Leesta as well as those goods and services required to support the operations and the office are done as efficiently as possible and in line with the operational and strategic goals of the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Help establish, sell and maintain the procurement vision and strategies which will be put in place to support the growth of Leesta;
- Participate in the definition of simple and efficient procurement & logistic procedures and;
- Optimize Leesta supplier base ;
- Negotiate and establish solid strategic agreements and relations with Leesta’s suppliers in order to obtain the best commercial terms possible and the suppliers’ commitment to support Leesta’s growth ;
- Place purchase orders, in accordance with the requirements of the ERP system and / or user requirements and ensure adequate follow-ups, to ensure on-time and quality deliveries at the best total cost possible ;
- Reduce total costs of acquisition, minimize inventories and maximize payment terms ;
- Manage all inventories of procured goods
- Coordinate all shipments with freight companies and customs brokers
- Any associated task as may be required.
Job qualifications
Education :
Bachelor’s degree (administration, Finance or Operations) or the equivalent.
Experience :
Minimum 8 years of pertinent experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook);
- Knowledge of the Visual ERP is a plus;
- Must be available to travel occasionally.
