Shipping Clerk

Job Description

Under the supervision of the supply chain manager, the shipping clerk is responsible for packaging, labeling, and shipping finished and semi-finished parts in accordance with customer specifications while ensuring accurate inventory management.
 

Responsibilities

  • Pack, weigh, label, and ship finished parts for delivery, and semi-finished parts to suppliers for further processing, according to specified requirements;
  • Receive and inspect incoming products from couriers and transporters, confirming the proper documentation and condition of goods;
  • Maintain an organized inventory of shipping materials and ensure proper use of packaging materials and equipment;
  • Inspect parts for defects and report any issues to the supervisor to ensure all shipments are accurate and meet customer standards.

Job qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a shipping or logistics role;
  • Basic computer knowledge for tracking shipments and updating records;
  • Bilingual (French/English)- Ability to read and interpret English work instructions;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
  • Available to work in the dayshift: 7:15am-3:15pm
     

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
