Methods Manager
Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Methods Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Methods department. You’ll manage a team of Methods Agents and CNC Programmers, ensuring accurate process documentation, program validation, and hands-on technical support to production. This role focuses on day-to-day operational management, while supporting the Director of Methods & NPI in the implementation of the department’s strategic direction.

Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the Methods department and assign tasks across the team.
- Supervise and support Methods Agents and CNC Programmers in delivering accurate and timely technical documentation.
- Ensure CNC programs and work instructions meet all customer requirements and machining standards.
- Coordinate issue resolution with Production, Quality, and Tooling departments.
- Manage all employee-related activities in the department (performance evaluations, daily oversight, development follow-up).
- Act as a key point of communication between the team and other departments to ensure alignment and responsiveness.
Job qualifications
- Proven experience of at least 5 years managing a technical team in a CNC/methods environment.
- Strong communicator; clear, responsive, and able to coordinate cross-functionally.
- Solid technical background in machining, CAD/CAM (Mastercam, NX), and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable leading daily execution on the shop floor.
- Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
Education
- Degree or technical diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
