Millwright

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced millwright who will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical faults, and ensure all production equipment operates efficiently and safely. This role is critical in minimizing downtime and supporting compliance with aerospace industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on CNC machines and related production equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and minor electrical issues using testing and diagnostic tools.
  • Repair, adjust, or replace worn or defective parts with a focus on high precision and quality control.
  • Conduct mechanical alignments and calibrations, and ensure tolerance levels meet aerospace production standards.
  • Perform cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and servicing of machine components in accordance with maintenance protocols.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs, ensuring traceability and compliance with aerospace quality systems.
  • Comply with all health and safety and environmental regulations, and actively participate in workplace safety initiatives and inspections.

Job qualifications

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Familiarity with CNC machine maintenance (e.g., milling, turning, multi-axis machines) is an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and technical drawings, schematics, and manuals;
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
  • Bilingual (French/English)- Ability to read and interpret English work instructions.

Education

  • Technical diploma or certification in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, or a related trade
